Resource Gate Ltd was incorporated in 2016, managed and directed by Edith Chede (MSc, PG Dip Leadership Management in Social Care), who is also the Registered Manager and Responsible Individual. Edith has over 20years experience in care, specifically around Extra care supported housing needs, Learning disabilities, Autism, Aspergers Syndrome, Downs Syndrome, Behaviours of concern, Physical disability, Epilepsy and Mental healthcare.
Resource Gate Care’s team of well trained and highly skilled staff offer care and support to persons living with dementia, the frail and the elderly persons, learning or physical disabilities, young persons with autism as well as children with care needs.
Our goal is to work with individual and their families or representatives in team with other health professionals to assess and meet client care needs in the areas of personal care, social activities, hospital and health appointments from time to time as our care team are skilled to provide the various required interventions which go a long way to improve the individual’s general wellbeing, also promoting their independence.
We strive to ensure that the care we give to our service users are person-centred, outcome-based and make a difference in their lives which apparently gets better than they were before we got involved in their care.

Our Mission
- To offer compassionate care support to families and their loved ones in the areas of physical or learning disabilities, dementia and elderly care in the comfort of their own homes or support to access the community, including respite care.
- To carefully match the caregiver’s skills and experience with assessed needs of the individual to ensure consistent delivery of person-centred, quality care support which are outcome-based

Our Aims

- Manage recruitment of quality care staff to ensure they are able to understand and respond to customers and relative needs.
- Achieve excellence in our service delivery to customers and those who purchase provision on their behalf/stakeholders
- Supporting our service user to promote their independence by offering various stimulating social involvement and inclusion activities
- Provide services that recognise and promote equality and diversity in our service users and staff alike
- Work in compliance with health and safety regulations through implementing robust policies and procedures.
- Ensure we have a diverse staff team and workforce who are adequately skilled and supported to deliver the high quality provision to services commissioners and the individuals.
- Maintain recruitment and procedures that meet the highest possible standard and in line with UK regulation and best practice.
- To be transparent with customers and learn from their feedback to continuously improve our experience
- Work to ensure that our service is safe, caring, responsive and well-led in line with the key line of enquiry of our regulatory authority, the Care Quality Commission
