Supported Accommodations
Our Supported Living service provides supported accommodation to single homeless people, helping them on the path to greater empowerment and independence.
We support single homeless people from 18-65years as well as people with complex needs and those at risk within society.
Our mission is to make life more rewarding for the people we support by helping them achieve their individual goals and realise their full potential, ensuring a brighter future for more qualitative outcomes.
We do not just provide safe and secure accommodation, our well trained and experienced team works with every single one of our clients to develop their unique personal support plan which clearly identifies the individual’s needs, aspirations and desired outcomes. With the individual’s support plan, we help our clients to achieve their full potential and live independent, fulfilled lives with a feeling of self-esteem and inclusion in the larger community.
What we Offer
Accomodation
We offer safe, secure quality supported accommodation which provides a home indeed to single homeless people and individuals at risk in society.
We operate a range of accommodation services, including home with support through to semi-independent living, to help our clients at every stage of their journey in life. We also have a 16 plus accommodation. Each of our homes represents a safe place with support, advice, guidance and encouragement for better outcomes.
Our homes are made up of fully furnished good-sized ensuite bedrooms, with access to a tastefully furnished communal room to support inclusion social activities as required by the individual. Accommodation is situated within a minute’s walk from the bus stop and 3 minutes to local shops.
A beautiful communal garden also adorns the rear of each of accommodation for our tenants’ use.
Support
For every single one of our clients, we aim to help them to successfully settle and sustain, manage and achieve their full potential to live independent, fulfilled lives. Our accommodations are staffed 24hours 7days a week, with oncall management access. Staff (support workers) are all well trained and experienced.

It’s Time for Change
- For young persons, 16 years and above, we provide comfortable accommodation and support. It could be care leavers, asylum seeker, or just single homeless aged 16pluspeople from all counties. We also work with them from the first day until they successfully move on to their own permanent accommodation.
- This is a supported accommodation, where our residents can develop independent living skills and empowered to make informed decisions about their futures.
This is a fully furnished 4-bedroom house including a communal. It is fully compliant and equipped to Ofsted requirements and standards. Property is situated in the heart of Luton and will accommodate four residents.
It is located on Alma Street, which is within a 5-minute walk to the town centre with an array of shops and facilities that should meet our client’s needs.
The accommodation will be supported round the clock by well trained and capable staff who will be willing to work with our clients.
This area is not deprived and is located close to the main council building. There are lots of amenities that our clients can access and engage with.

Domiciliary Care
We offer domiciliary care services which include providing daily living care and support to people in their own homes or supporting them to access the community to attend those appointments or get involved in social activities and visit places that are important to them.
Our service is duly regulated by the Care Quality Commission to provide care support in the areas of

We also have the capacity to supply our well trained carers to help out at other care settings to meet their caring obligations to individuals in their care at their moments of staff shortages due to absences. We supply Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, Senior Support Workers and Senior Healthcare Assistants and Recreational Workers to other care provider organisations.
Our staff are skilled to offer quality care and support in the areas of getting out of bed, transfers, personal hygiene care, medication, cleaning and laundry, meal preparation, shopping, community navigation, social activities, home-help, safeguarding and support to keep safe.
Daily Living Support
Rather than moving into a residential home or facing institutionalisation, home care help have come to the rescue for individuals who have care support needs in our community. With Resource Gate Care you are able to access the service of our fit and proper staff to come into your home, at times agreed by you to help with tasks or activities which you feel you need some extra support with, including cleaning your home, cooking your meals, helping you to get up in the morning, or more personal hygiene care and medication assistance.
If you make a decision to receive our assistance in the comfort of your home, we will come and have a chat at a time that suits you so we can work together to create a plan for your care needs. This plan will be reviewed at least yearly, however, it will be updated if your needs change. See our underlisted sections for more information on the various care services we are able to deliver to suit you today.
Meal Preparation/Cleaning
It can be a bit distressing when you suddenly realise you are no longer able to prepare your meals or clean for yourself in the same ways as you used to, however our care team are on hand to take the pressure off you and assist with cleaning and cooking tasks that may have become more difficult. Our team will work alongside you in your home to help you to clean your home and to help you to prepare and have the meals that you enjoy. Our carers will work with you to empower you to live as independently as possible therefore your own input is welcome in all areas of your care to ensure you are still in control.
Personal Hygiene Care
If you have difficulty moving we understand that tasks such as washing, dressing, or toileting can become a bit challenging. Our skilled compassionate carer can assist you with these needs using a dignified approach that is also very person-centred. Our carers are trained in the use hoists and other mobility/transfer aid equipment so they are able to assist you to safely move around in your home and carrying out personal care tasks accordingly, ensuring right outcomes.
Medication Administration
Managing your medication can become a daunting task particularly when memory and/or mobility issues set in. We can have your carer trained to assist you administer your medication as prescribed by your health professionals.
Due to the importance of ensuring that medication is dispensed correctly, and records are kept of what you have taken, we require some simple health and safety measures for medication which we administer in order to ensure that we are working in the safest way possible.
If Your Care Needs Change
We will still be there for you, willing to help you adjust and also achieve positive outcomes as we do understand that people’s needs change over time and want to work with you as flexibly as possible during these times. whether that is providing additional services or reducing support in areas where you are now more confident. At the start of your care, our care team member will meet with you for an open conversation and an assessment of your needs and work with you to determine exactly what outcomes you will like; this will also include what you want to happen should your needs change and if you are unable to communicate. Your care plan is then recorded which you will also have access to all the information contained. Care plan will be subject to review on yearly basis or if your care need changes within the period.
We want to work flexibly with you so that you remain as independent as possible and are able to provide extra support should you need it or less support if you feel that you are able to complete some tasks on your own the way you like it done, either way you will remain in control of the care we provide to you.
